Weird Printer + Word Bug

I don't know if it's Word or our printer, but it won't print black text for a 5x7 borderless document.  It comes out purple.  We've run all kinds of experiments, and this is the only setting that renders purple text.  We finally solved it by printing 5x7 bordered.  Frickin' weird.
